UNIVERSAL EXPLORERS COORPORATION

Universal Explorers Coorporation - New Forum Guild with lots of events INSERT PICTURE HERE

Greetings, fellow adventurer. Are you looking to chart and discover the universe, planets, races, animals, plants, relics, buildings and practically everything out there waiting to be found? So are we! UEC, lead by Soulfar and Rebecca1208, brings together all interested in uncovering the truth of empires, charting animals and plants, travelling to distant places amongst many other things. There will be a system that will involve points, so you can just update your explorer through your findings, adventures completed, creations etc. Know the past, living the present, preparing for the future!

The system will work this way: When someone joins, they'll be considered Rank 1 and Level 0 and that, at the moment, only allows to complete adventures made by UEC leaders. Those adventures will consist in relics to find, information to discover, amongst many other things. Some parts will be coded and through your findings, you'll find those codes and PM them to us, with that, we'll know your progress Smile We are aware people can cheat through adventure editor but we'd appreciate if people didn't do that, since it'd destroy the essence of this guild. When you also join, we'd like you to show your captain/explorer, so we can make a profile for your character on the OP. That way, we'll keep track of your findings, you can compare achievements, etc.
The planets will have stories, animals, (Many things!) made up by the Moderators so you can discover yourself and we'll update your findings on your profile.

By each rank you get, you'll get different abilities, like, for example, as rank 3, you'll be able to create relics and items to be used in adventures and each of them will give you X points.

If you have any questions, please ask away

Ranks & Levels

Rank 1: Initiate (lvl 0-5) - Initiates are the trainees, newbies, and early explorers. They are new, innocent, and eager for adventure! But they have to start out small. Before they can part take on any wild expeditions, they first need to gain a little intelligence, experience, and artifacts. Initiates can gain their points, levels, and ultimately higher ranks, by completing tasks that us leaders set for you (adventures). They can also gain more points if they find special relics, messages and secrets, and send them off to us! It's a small start, but it helps introduce you to our new clan.

Rank 2: Scout (lvl 6-10) - Scouts are great for making camps and taming wild beasts. While Scouts can continue gaining points in adventures, they are also able to create pets, creatures and assistance for their fellow teams. While creating creatures for us to tame and control shall earn you 1 rank point, if we use it in our adventures as part of the explorers' team, you'll earn an additional 5 points per creature! You can also create health packs, energy packs, and small furniture/buildings, such as entire camps, for explorations!

Rank 3: Collector (lvl 11-15) - Collectors are important. They've gained enough knowledge and experience to know much about the explorations. Using this, they are able to create their own relics, artifacts, and other important items. They're also able to create vehicles, and larger buildings. For every creation made, they'll gain 1 point, except for relics - the relics shall be rated by the leaders. Depending on your rating, you could gain a high amount of points, and even more points if we use these relics in our adventures!

Rank 4: Explorer (lvl 16-20) - As an Explorer, you must know a heavy amount of information about the areas now, right? Well. An Explorer has the right to find places for us to explore and discover. In other words, you can make template worlds of any given theme, decorate it as well as you'd like, even give it a little back story if you so wish, and have them used by the leaders and Official UEC Explorers for expeditions. For every planet made, you'll gain 5 points. If an Official UEC Explorer uses your planet, that's another 5 points, but if us leaders use it, then you could gain 10-30 points!

Rank 5: Official UEC Explorer (lvl 21-25) - These Officials are some of the highest ranked explorers in our team. They are able to create anything, from creatures and vehicles, to relics and planets. They can even offer expeditions for the rest of the team! The only difference between Official Explorers and leaders, however, is these Officials can not add special items into their adventures, at least, without our permission. You'll know it's an approved adventure if it is added into our sporecast. Also, of course, Officials do not make the rules, and should not be given the right to award rank points, unless discussed with us.

Rank X: Leader (need a better name?) - Well. You can't be a leader, unless a leader appoints you as a leader. As you may have guessed, we take care of everything on this. All decisions are handled by us, unless we appoint an Adviser to assist us. All of our challenges are immediately approved - don't worry, we'll be fair! And it is down to us on who is accepted and banished for what ever reasons - while Officials and Advisers have permissions, we can reverse these, or decide if their actions were appropriate.

Special Rank: (1) Adviser - Advisers are chosen by the leaders, or recommended by the Officials, to take care of our thread(s), and help us all out. Leaders, Officials and Advisers all have the right accept members, while Leaders and Advisers have the right to banish those who've done wrong. They have our permission to 'police' the thread, and ask users to take unrelated conversations or arguments through to PMs. Can not earn Rank Points.

Special Rank: (2) Challenger - While all members are welcomed to create their own challenges, the Challengers have permission to start challenges which can earn you points and items. We highly recommend that all Challengers first discusses their challenge with the Leaders. The best time to start one, would be while there aren't any active official challenges, a challenge is in the middle of voting, or it's a long-term challenge. Can not earn Rank Points.

Special Rank: (3) Adventurer - Adventurers, chosen by leaders, are members that are able to approve adventures created by users. They test the adventures, and sends us feedback, if for any reason, we are unable to test it, or if we want another opinion. Adventurers are more than welcome to send feedback on any user-made adventure, but information on adventures that award points would be far more helpful. If a user-made adventure is that amazing, Adventurers can ask us to add these into our sporecasts. Can not earn Rank Points.

Instructions in how to play the adventures:

- First of all, have fun Smile Join the essence of the guild by not cheating, simply go on the adventure as if you were yourself and picture it as serious as you can, following the rules.
- The adventures will sometimes have puzzles and action, for you'll have to keep a free open mind for whatever you'll encounter. Nothing will be impossible. Your captain will likely need Jump.
- Take time. Don't rush to the end. Read all parts, investigate the set (Don't worry, we won't hide secrets TOO far away), collect relics, uncover information, etc.
- Have a small notebook and a pen/pencil so you can write down the codes to PM us. The codes will be found in certain treasures you'll find. By finding more treasures, uncovering more codes and PM'ing them to us, will increase your score.
- If you're here to cheat or not take this seriously, then we'd appreciate if you didn't join. We're all just hoping to have a good time together.
- It will always be mentioned the ammount of secrets/codes per adventure.

Rules:

- No spamming, no trolling, no starting arguments with others, no spam smilie. If you want to do any of these, please use the PM for that person.
- You can use any captain you want, as long as it doesn't look like an one colored blob Razz But we'd encourage you to make something fitting the theme but It's Not Necessary Razz
- Try to keep your explorer related to the theme. Like, putting him with 2 rocket launchers won't suit the mood much.
- Your captain WILL need to jump, either by racial skills or captain updates, since there will be moments in adventures that will depend on your captain's agility.
- There will be a Skull-System. Everytime you disobey the rules, you'll get 1 skull. Once you get 3, you're kicked from the guild, so please be nice Smile
- Only 1 explorer per player.
- When you create something to use, me and rebecca will judge it. If it gets a good rating, we'll use it, if not, then i'm sorry but we won't :\ same for adventures. This is so we can avoid people with simple creations.
- No cheating, seriously. Enter the spirit and have fun with us Smile
- Remember to tag as GAprop anything you use that is a prop Razz
- Each relic you create and has a good score given by the Mods, you will receive 5 points.
- If you have the reputation of spamming, trolling, flamming, you will NOT be accepted.
- If you disobey the rules and persist, we will not hesitate in contacting a sporemaster
- If you are not accepted or are very angry about something and want to speak with the leaders, please use PM's.
- Most of all, enter the spirit and have fun Smile

We highly recommend that all Challengers first discusses their challenge with the Leaders. The best time to start one, would be while there aren't any active official challenges, a challenge is in the middle of voting, or it's a long-term challenge. I bet the word "challenge" sounds really weird to you now, doesn't it? Can not earn Rank Points.

Special Rank: (3) Adventurer - Adventurers, chosen by leaders, are members that are able to approve adventures created by users. They test the adventures, and sends us feedback, if for any reason, we are unable to test it, or if we want another opinion. Adventurers are more than welcome to send feedback on any user-made adventure, but information on adventures that award points would be far more helpful. If a user-made adventure is that amazing, Adventurers can ask us to add these into our sporecasts. Can not earn Rank Points.

Levels - This is just a suggestion. Rather than users immediately jump through the ranks, they can level first? Either, each level requires, say, 50 points, or as the level increases, the points increase, too? If a member achieves level 6, that's when they move to rank 2. Ranks could be the guidelines, while levels could be more specific about their progress.

Two possible level arrangements:
Either every level requires a certain amount of points, or...

Rank 1
lvl 1 - Requires 10 Points
lvl 2 - Requires 15 Points (25 total)
lvl 3 - Requires 25 Points (50 total)
lvl 4 - Requires 50 Points (100 total)
lvl 5 - Requires 75 Points (175 total)

Rank 2
lvl 5 - Requires 100 Points (275 total)
lvl 6 - Requires 125 Points (400 total)
lvl 7 - Requires 150 Points (550 total)
lvl 8 - Requires 175 Points (725 total)
lvl 9 - Requires 200 Points (925 total)

Rank 3
lvl 10 - Requires 225 Points (1150 total)
lvl 11 - Requires 250 Points (1400 total)
lvl 12 - Requires 275 Points (1675 total)
lvl 13 - Requires 300 Points (1975 total)
lvl 14 - Requires 325 Points (2025 total)

Rank 4
lvl 15 - Requires 350 Points (2375 total)
lvl 16 - Requires 375 Points (2725 total)
lvl 17 - Requires 400 Points (3125 total)
lvl 18 - Requires 425 Points (3550 total)
lvl 19 - Requires 450 Points (4000 total)

Rank 5
lvl 20 - Requires 475 Points (4475 total)
lvl 21 - Requires 500 Points (4975 total)
lvl 22 - Requires 525 Points (5500 total)
lvl 23 - Requires 550 Points (6050 total)
lvl 24 - Requires 575 Points (6625 total)

Obviously, 6625 is a hell of a lot of points to accumulate. But, it makes it challenging, makes people more active, and they can earn vast rewards in challenges or loot.

Shops & Loot - The shop can be introduced later.
Every user starts off with, say, 100 credits. They can spend this in shops for items which might increase their stats. Eg. "Buy lenses for 10 credits to increase --- (+1 points earned)" or "Buy meat for 50 credits to increase carnivore diet (+1 every carnivorous animal created).
Or, members can sell objects/loot they've found in adventures for credits/stats.

We can add more to it later, if we decide to add this, or if the clan grows.
_ _ _ _ _

As for loot, perhaps have things like Treasure Map Pieces, puzzles, collections, multiple things. We could place objects in 5 separate adventures, or all together in one adventure, with special codes. A user finds all the codes, gives it to us, we approve, and they'll either be rewarded with a special item, or can choose their reward out of a couple, depending on what collection they've completed.

Eg. Items Collected: 1 Red Feather. 1 Yellow Feather. 1 Orange Feather.

Reward: Feather of the Phoenix (+10 Courage/Loyalty - Increases Points received completing adventures by 5).

The larger the collection completed, the more rewarding the prize is.

OR/AND

Find items in the adventure. A user submits a code from an item, eg. "123ABC" and we'll either reward them with something small, or give them a choice in a few small items. Sometimes, it can be Rank Points earned.

Other items might just say, "Check for Loot *click* You've received 1534 Credits. Code: 123ABC". They'll need to send us the code as proof they found it. No code - no reward.
